Originally the brainchild of a small group of visionary and dedicated Heights small-business owners, Heights 1st Saturday attracts visitors to the neighborhood to discover the Heights' best-kept secrets. The eclectic boutiques, antiques shops, restaurants and the First Saturday Arts Market plan special events; artists show and sell their works; and musicians play outdoors. Starting from Hickory Hollow's parking lot, free shuttles carry visitors from business to business providing a little history and insight into this culturally and architecturally diverse neighborhood.
